Your Partner in Natural Gas Development

Many of your neighbors have selected Range Resources as their natural gas drilling partner. To hear why, in their own words, check out these videos above.

Selecting Range Resources

We have a world-class shale technical team. Range Resources pioneered the Marcellus Shale in 2004 and has since developed a number of technological and environmental firsts here in Pennsylvania. With hundreds of employees in our Pennsylvania offices, we have one of the largest staffs dedicated to exploring the Marcellus Shale, with more years working in the Marcellus than anyone else.

We strive for productivity. When choosing a drilling partner, you should not only consider the amount of money the company is offering to lease your land, but also their drilling success. The more productive the wells, the higher the royalty payments you will receive over the life of your well, which can last for decades. Range Resources has some of the highest payment rates for wells in the Marcellus Shale, and we've been paying substantial royalties to area landowners longer than anyone else.

We can move the gas. Many companies won't have the infrastructure in place to deliver large quantities of natural gas from the Marcellus Shale for some time. Range Resources has already completed many of the necessary pipelines and processing plants needed to bring the natural gas under your feet to market.

We understand this region, its needs, its shale and its people. We live and work in this community and have the same goals as you do - clean skies, clean water, good schools, and safe and prosperous communities. We continually strive to take good care of the land by meeting or exceeding industry standards and government regulations. We support our communities through charitable donations and encourage our employees to volunteer their time. We take pride in working to enhance the quality of life for ourselves and our neighbors.
