Restoring the Land

After drilling is complete, our aim is to be a good guest and leave things the way we found them - or even better. Reclamation is just as important to Range Resources as it is to landowners. Before we leave a site, we grade the land to its original contour, spread topsoil, and replace grass and vegetation so the landscape is restored for generations to come. All that remains is production equipment about the size of a two-car garage. Depending on the location and the needs of the landowner or neighbors, we may plant additional privacy trees to create the least possible impact.

Making Things Right

We want landowners and neighbors to be happy with the way the landscape looks after reclamation. We understand that in some cases, that may mean ongoing maintenance and improvements to meet or exceed their expectations. As with any new landscaping, the grass may take a season to fill in, some trees might not grow at first and a number of personal touches might need to be reworked. We recognize this and are committed to doing whatever it takes to make landowners and neighbors happy. It's the right thing to do for the communities where we work, but it's also good for our business because we truly care what people think of our company.
