Founded in 1976, Range Resources (NYSE: RRC) was originally headquartered in the Appalachian region, and we continue to have an important presence in Pennsylvania. We employ hundreds of people at our regional office in Canonsburg and thousands of staff and subcontractors across the state.
Exploring New Opportunities
In 2004, we were the first company to successfully apply modern drilling technologies in the Marcellus Shale, which may hold one of the world's largest supplies of clean-burning natural gas. As drilling expands, more and more of our neighbors will have the opportunity to share in the development of this exciting new source of independent American energy.
